IIRC, it's uninstallable right now anyway (due to binutils-m68k going away
in light of the toolchain-source packaging).  If that's the case it should
be removed until it can be remade under the new cross-compiler system.  I
can help whomever decides to package up any cross-compilers (I've done
three so far for local uses only, so I'm very familiar with the
rather simple procedure).

FWIW, I too intend on hacking at the toolchain-source packaging and am
contemplating having binutils provide a binutils-source package instead of
relying on toolchain-source.  If/When I get that done, toolchain-source
should probably be modified to be a meta-package or just contain the gcc
sources and depend on binutils-source.  Alas, though, free time is
something that's been evading me lately, so it's in the middle of my
rather lengthy to-do list...
