No, but there is no difference. However that helped finding the problem.
root@aahz:~>grep head /usr/sbin/xserver-configure

root@aahz:~>ldd -r /usr/bin/head

/lib/ld.so.1 => /lib/ld.so.1 (0xc0000000)
undefined symbol: __strtouq_internal (/usr/bin/head)
A recompiled textutils solves this.
