I have the mac part of actually booting the mac written out at 
http://www.insync.net/~guss/clay/macinstall.txt

I'll be happy to email that to anyone who finds the web a nuscance or 
for whatever reason.

anyway, is there an email list for this?

note about the boot info: file locations might be different, and 
which files needed might be due to what will be used(i.e. i haven't 
looked around for a hqx encoder yet to create some prefs for Penguin 
18)
