I found some information on Linuxdoc and some on another place. And I got it
to work on my old redhat with a fresh new compiled kernel so now I have all
the information I think I need to get it working without DHCP. So,
hopefully I can make it work long enough to install everything and then I
can worry about DHCP.

No, that was not what I wanted. But now I think I know how to do this. I
have torn my hair quite a lot to make it work with the base system. But, I
haven't had enough information avaliable until now and now I hope that it's
enough.
