Apple Printer

I'm sorry this may not be the right place to post such a question, but i
dunno
where i could ask else...

I have an apple LaserWriter IIf printer, and I'd like to use it.
I know it's working with MacOS 7.1 in LocalTalk.

I'd like to know if it's possible to use it with the SCSI interface
(or is it just to give it a HD ?)
(I made a test, but it doesn't declare itself at it's ID)

I've tested it via RS-232, but it doesn't work better.
The config page printed says 'Not arbitrated for input'. What does that
mean ?
How can I configure the printer ? (It has NO Button !)
Do I need a Null-Modem cable ? (I tried both Null- and Normal- , but
none seemed
to work : does it need more than TD/RD ?)
