hi ya'll - this was the final way to get the hfs
volume from inside debian and install files


mkdir /mnt/sda4
mount -t hfs /dev/sda4   or /mnt/sda4
cd /mnt/sda4
dpkg -i  (filename.deb)!!!

now that the install is successful? how do I run
files?

dpkg -x?

I ask for help on dpkg and it scrolls the list too
quickly. How can I ask for help and scroll those files
a little bit more slowly....

I almost have the files I need to run after_step!

that's and using the modem are the only goals I have
for this machine.

but I just get a repeating bunch of code (looks like
init strings?
