Well, then my only ideas are that there might be some sort of conservative
timing mode active or that MacOS knows of some special features of the
hardware that Linux doesn't know.

PS: If you quote a PGP signed message, could you possibly strip the "BEGIN
PGP..." and "END PGP..." lines as well. It is very confusing to get
messages about missing signatures... :-/
