Hi,

Is there any where I can find out how to: " boot a kernel without the 8390
active and then poke at it via >/dev/mem and gdb"

Also in order to boot a kernel wo/8390 active I'll need to recompile the
kernel? Will I need the latest kernel source to do this? (IE I'm using Kernel,
2.1.105 7/8 version..

Thanks,

Ryan
