Base system installation pb !

Hi,

When I try to boot from the harddisk partition, after the installation of the
base system, I obtain the message:
Unable to open an initial console
and then the machine resets. What can I do ?

I had error messages when unpacking the archive file base2_0.tgz, but I
managed anyway to unpack it (by first unpacking then re-packing it on a
Sun).  Maybe it's a missing file ?

I have a Amiga4000 with Cyberstorm 040/40, 12Mo, a GVP4008 SCSI card, a SCSI
HD where I install Debian and a CyberVision64.
