Thank you for your email enquiry. I would like to respond to your questions in your order:
1. 2015 June- July Vacation dates are 15 June 2015 to 15 July 2015 AND 2016 June- July rates are Provisional 14 June to 07 July 2016, this will be confirmed before end of the month of June 2015
2. Please see attached 2015-2016 Rates for your perusal (UCT internal Accommodation single room rate 2016 is R247.00).
3. Residence allocation for 2016 has not yet been done but we can provisionally book your group at Graca Machel for this period.
4. You will need to confirm the booking information via email for a quotation to be drawn up for you, as soon as the quotation has been signed a booking form needs to be completed (with all pages initialled). Once all that has been done an invoice will be created and payment process begins. If you are paying with UCT journal we will forward the journal transfer form to you for the relevant parties to complete. The booking form is your contract with the UCT’s Vacation Accommodation.
5. The Catering Residence will only cater to your group only meals that have been paid for as we will quote you. No outsourced caterer is allowed to cater for you while you stay with us, we have in house caterer for all your catering needs.
Please confirm if this booking will be paid for by the internal UCT fund. This information will help us to know what rate needs to be added on your quotation for accommodation.

I hope you are well. I have some questions please, regarding the Debian Developers conference to be hosted at UCT in July 2016:
- Can you please confirm which dates in July/August the residences are available?
- Can you please let me know if the 2016 prices for accommodation has been finalised? Can I have them please?
- I would also like to go ahead and book one residence completely. Is the residence allocation for 2016 done yet? If not, when can I expect that please?
- Related, how does the contractual agreement work? Can you talk me through this please?
- Can you tell me the terms of the residence caterers please? Do we have to do all meals through them (breakfast, lunch and dinner), or what are the preferred things they'd do? We will at least do breakfasts through the residence.

We are hosting the international Debian Developers Conference in Cape Town during July 2016.
The conference will take place at the University of Cape Town, New Engineering Building. We have obtained approval from Senate.
We require 14 days student residence accommodation, as well as accommodation for families, proposed dates 1-15 July 2016.We expect approximately 300 people.
Please advise as to steps required to book accommodation in Fuller Hall, as well as Forest Hill.
