FWIW as a personal data point, I now have too many DebConf messenger bags

+1, and very appropriate for Portland.
"...and don't forget to check out Lloyd Center, a quintessential
American 'shopping mall', complete with skating rink! There is
no sales tax (e.g., VAT) here in Portland... but you will need
to bring your DebConf14 bags to carry your goods home...."
If we can agree on a budget of $1500-2000, and agree to minimum
bikeshedding with whatever I come up with, I volunteer to research and
coordinate the bags.
(I'm currently thinking of canvas tote bags that are larger and a step
up in quality from what we did for DC10, but don't hold me to it.)
The only support I believe I'll need from local team, is:
1) Help with dealing with graphics from the designer of the conference logo
I'm in.
Have previous years' bags had printing on both sides?
It'd be nice to have the DebConf14 logo/digits on one side,
and something on the other side that helps promote free
software to the larger audience of people who will see
the bags in day-to-day use after they go home with their
proud new owners.
