Can a turn-key solution for this be devised? E.g. a statically
linked executable that the presenter runs to export the display,
no questions asked?
x11vnc has a debian package -- I'm sure that's more trusted, better
supported and available across architectures (laptops come in many
flavours ;)
And then all we need to provide is a commandline with the right x11vnc options.
