I have little new to report since last time. My laptop can recognise and use
two ieee1394 interfaces, but I have not tested them simultaneously; I only had
one firewire cable.

I have only one myself, and it's too short to run from a tripod to a
computer. If anyone has extra firewire cables it would certainly help.

I'll buy one or two extra, to do some testing in advance. We should have
a generous stock of 4-pin firewire cables (both the cameras an all PC laptops
use 4-pin, not 6-pin). At least 2 metres long.

Speaking of long cables: Coloured tape or labeled strips would come handy!

We're also lacking in USB2 drive enclosures.

Do we need to bring enclosures or large USB disks?
Can't they be borrowed or purchased locally?

What day are you going to arrive?

The evening of July 2nd, or the afternoon of the 3rd. I am about to order
a flight. I might bring a fellow Norwegian who can join the team.
