I have to say that I shared Holger's initial sentiment, but I'm also thankful
that someone is actually putting energy in moving things forward, even though I
have strongly disagreed with their actions in the past. As far as I can see,
Julien is acting in good faith here.

I have not seen anyone else put energy into changing/improving the public health
stance within DebConf orga (I know I certainly don't have more energy to be
doing so than I had when we first had discussions around this in local team a
year ago).

I disagree that the discussion should wait, because we generally want
registration, etc. to be moving as fast as possible when the conference dates
are known, and an updated public health policy would be an integral part of that
process.
