The local team doesn't have the bandwidth to handle this at this stage, sorry.
I very much doubt the video team has the bandwidth to handle this in addition to everything else that has piled on with lack of support from the local AV team, but we may discuss it in our meeting in a few hours.
I've had good experience at work with the Meeting Owl. It's a 360° camera, loudspeaker and microphone that hooks into an arbitrary laptop and shows up as a UVC webcam and audio input/output device. Works well with Linux. It's eminently fine as a self-service device. (I won't be able to borrow the one I have at work for the 2+ weeks I'm away though)
