* It's not clear what the on-site accommodation actually is. To begin
with it wasn't clear if rooms were sharing or not; it now looks like
they are _probably_ single person to a room with shared toilet and
shower facilities, but that doesn't seem certain. If you want to
encourage people to pay for their own accommodation where possible it
helps if they know what they will actually get.
Fair, I'll pass it on.
I'd just like to point out
https://debconf25.debconf.org/about/accommodation/ which is as clear
as we could be about what is on offer in terms of self-paid
accommodation :
- single rooms in student dorms on campus (some with private bathrooms,
some with shared bathrooms)
- shared accommodation in camping bungalows a handful of bus stops away
from campus (2-3 rooms per bungalow)
Thanks, that's definitely clearer than I remember; if it hasn't changed
then I think I missed the bit at the bottom about different pricing for
the different rooms previously and thus wasn't aware it was possible to
ensure I didn't end up paying for a shared room that is a bus ride away.
