As I peeked at the auditor's ledger for Debian, there seems to be an
semi-automatic mechanism for FFIS already. If those donations were
actually tax-deductible, that might get even more individuals to
donate.

(But maybe it's not fair to ask that, because it would mean that there's
not really a 1:1 relationship.)
