Package: lists.debian.org Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: debconf-team@lists.debconf.org The DebConf team has run separate infrastructure for mailing lists for a number of years. This is pointlessly redundant. They also don't work well: over the years I have repeatedly encountered problems being able to send mail to DebConf mailing lists because of wrong, RFC-violating anti-spam checks. The lists.debconf.org mailserver has now crashed, and been reinstalled. After reinstallation, I'm completely unable to send mail there, again because of wrong server-side anti-spam checks. It's time to put an end to this. Listmasters, can you please create debconf-team and debconf-discuss lists on lists.debian.org, so that the DebConf team can also benefit from the rock-solid Debian lists infrastructure? -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world.
