basically, if we dont sleep in their beds/houses, but in tents/campers/simply
on the grass, we will need to pay 10 CHF per person, for using their
ressources, ie garbage cleaning, electricity + water, toilet share.

And they will also just trust us with giving them the numbers of people who do
that and for which days. They don't expect to measure this every day, at least
I think, after having talked with them about this.

And we agreed that we don't think the place can host 500 people, and that some
"order" should be preserved when setting up the tents, eg we define areas for
camping.

And that such details can+will be solved during DebConf (+DebCamp). (And
obviously we should discuss and agree on serveral plans+ideas long before, but
atm we need to do this (=agree on serveral plans+ideas long before) much
rather for the budget(s), than for bed&camping ;-)

fine. Please re-read
http://lists.debconf.org/lurker/message/20121028.234123.b01ef51c.en.html -
lasz but sixth paragraph, starting with "To be clear, off-meeting comment
now".

To repeat: I don't think we should rent tents. If people come with tents,
fine.

cheers,
