I created a new page with a more specific name to avoid confusions: 
http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf12/Pictures 

I also added a couple of links there, to a flickr search using "debconf12" and
Holger's gallery. 

Also please note that we will need to check the license of the selected
pictures, so far I look on flickr some pictures that are not DFSG-friendly, I
can volunteer for this task but only after someone else select the pictures that
will be used on the Final Report
