Hmm, OK. As you say, there's no lift. How do we feel about splitting the hacklabs across the two floors, so that there's a room downstairs, and the bulk upstairs? If hacklabs are all downstairs, they'll be fragmented into quite small chunks anyway, so that seems sub-optimal. The big 4-rooms-into-1 room seems like the obvious place to have most of the hacklab space, and is unlikely to be useful for much else. Of course, we need somewhere for BoFs and the like that are not on the 2 scheduled tracks -- and that will also need to be downstairs if at all possible. The server/video/office rooms are a fine size for that, but would be small for either BoF or hacklab use.
