Re: [Debconf-team] [Debconf11-localteam] T-shirts

Hello everybody,

I'm willing to take this task, actually there are few local people who are willing to help me (Vedran, Zlatan, Aleksandar,..), so we can explore all the details about the print in several print shops here, and then decide which one is most apropriate to do the printing. Can someone just point me out three proposed designs (I know there are 3 different t-shirt colors), so we can ask in print shops and they could propose us the price for the print and a t-shirts. We we'll ask for the bas as well. There gonna be a logo on the bags as well?

Thanks!

Right, normally there is a large fixed cost for each design
(multiplied by the number of colours used). For a small run of
t-shirts this can greatly increase the cost per shirt.

Obviously we need to hear prices before anything starts, but I think
it's better just to immediately confirm the price for one shared
design.

* But, everyone please remember: this printing also must include bags,
as promised to our sponsors. *

The bags themselves should be chosen to be cheap, e.g. like the ones
used last year in the USA. This still complicates things though, as
many places print t-shirts but don't stock appropriate bags. (Of
course, they may not have *enough* t-shirt of the size distribution we
want, in the right colours, in stock either.)
