Yes, but I wasn't expecting you to be the one doing this. :)

Normally for an internet connection to be made, you have to arrange a
date with the ISP and/or phone company some time in advance.  I
realise this may be easier because mtel are a sponsor, but it's still
polite to arrange a fixed date with them, not phone up and say "we
need this *now*".

It is pretty important to have the internet connection ready before
DebCamp, otherwise we have a lot of angry attendees.  (It's not a
problem so much for the organisers, but the attendees need this so
they can work on the plans they made.)

I expected one of the local volunteers (not you for everything) to go
to Banski Dvor on the arranged date, watch the work happen, and then
check the connection -- I think someone even volunteered for this
while we were visiting?
