On that note, having people pay for the daytrip has worked well in the past,
but at the same time we don't want people to be excluded from the daytrip if
it's legitimately hard for them to afford. Assuming we do end up planning a day
trip, maybe we should sponsor the daytrip costs for those receiving travel
sponsorship, and possibly for Corporate attendees as an extra incentive to pay
that amount (somewhat moot now for dc9)? Regardless I think the formal dinner
should be free for all, even people without sponsored food if we can afford it,
in the interest of maximiing attendance.
