Me neither, though there's people who have already done so, and will
keep doing so no matter what others do, and this is fair enough.

In order to enter Brazil and Argentina we venezuelans are asked to have
a yellow fever shot. This means you have to go to a hospital, waste half
an hour of your time there and then go to another office and waste a
couple hours more waiting for your "yellow book" to be stamped. I recall
having one of these shots once and I lost two days of work since my arm
was numb because of the shot.

Flying from Brazil to Buenos Aires I had to throw away my water bottle
since it's forbidden to have it on board (or at least I was told so) I
usually have to do a strip show for airport officers in X-ray machines
in most LatAm airports only to get through to another queue.

At DC6 and DC8 I've seen people complaining about people speaking mostly
spanish, and the terrible english we (aim to) speak. Next DC will be in
Spain, so I suppose people are aprendiendo español already.

Those restrictions, harrassments and local particularities appear in all
countries, and I'm sure there's people who have refused to attend DC6,
DC7 and DC8 for such reasons -- and we won't change that.

That said, even if Venezuela has one of the highest refusal rates of US
visas in Latin America (go figure) flying to the US can be cheaper for
most of us than even travelling to Argentina and Mexico.

Just my 2E-2 ARS,
Jose
