As a less personnel-intensive solution, one camera can
stream live over wifi. No mixing, just a directional mic
on the camera. The camera will have to get close to the
speaker; maybe a steadycam would be appropriate?
A laptop in a backback can handle the compression and the
wifi transmission. This is a setup I would like to test
ASAP.

Agreed.
