The Debian Project will organise Debconf5 in Helsinki (Finland) during the Summer of 2005.
Debconf is a major annual Debian conference held in different places around the globe each year.
It gathers Debian developers and enthusiasts from all over the world.
History

Previous Debian conferences were in:
* Debconf1: Bordeaux, France. 2001.
* Debconf2: Toronto, Canada. 2002.
* Debconf3: Oslo, Norway. 2003.
* Debconf4: Porto Alegre, Brazil. 2004.
Call for Help

Debian conferences are organised for and by volunteers around the world, supporting
any kind of activity. But support from local people is also very important for Debconf,
who help directly during the conference itself or during the preparations before it.
Therefore we send you this call for help and assistence. Any person can help us: Linux or
free software user groups, single individuals, etc.
