News from the front line
It seems i have a couple of updates.
Since TKK has stopped renting the apartments in Otaniemi, it is clear that the
sports event happening during August is a major advantage, since we will be
able to rent some apartments for 150-200 people with very little overhead for
the organization.
The idea of having some days before and after the 5+2+5 days of
debcamp+trip+debconf seems to be excelent, according to the feedback I have
had.
The contact person in Otaniemi has already made some steps forward contacting
the responsibles of the renting, the events and so forth. I hopped we could
some update by today, but maybe on monday I have received an answer.
Some local organizations need to be contacted: FLUG, FUUG,... to provide
logistic help, and maybe manpower (with some more ideas, contact people)...
In a separate mail I will send what Maxx sent me: a checklist with some
interesting points to take into account for the organizers.
