Instead of sending your money to the US (with uber) I think it's much
more sensible to use local Brasilian services likes 99.
It's worth noting that 99 is now owned by Chinese company Didi. Also in my recent trips to the airport Uber was slightly cheaper than 99 (like R$30 vs R$40).
