TLDR; Yes, the UCT Pub (see your welcome pdf).

We have the pleasant problem of having two alternatives now with
people serving us food and beer. The UCT pub is where we get food
during DebCamp and where the default socialising takes place. While
the pub itself is cozy, there is a large room with seating and plugs
for hacking, and a pool/billiard room, IIRC.

We also booked the common rooms in Fuller residence, where you can do
stuff, but there isn't beer on tap and you have to sort your own food
out.

I am biased towards the new alternative, the tennis club cafe
mentioned here, that is most pleasant if the weather is good, is right
next to the tennis courts, is en route for hiking, and closest to
Menzies (albeit uphill), where the main conference is held. My bias is
also that I can bring my dogs if we use them, but if there are too few
of us they might not want to stay open. IF there are many of us that
frequent them, they will likely stay open later than 9pm, we'll have
to play it by ear, I guess. The other complication is that if it's
cold at night and everyone wants to be inside, there's only about
space for 20 or so people...
