Hello, Patty,

regarding impressions and daytrip I recommend having a look at my
pictures in the DebConf-gallery:

Panorama-pictures were made with Hugin and GIMP, then downscaled using
Imagemagick. You can look at other attendees pictures too, in order to
draw some inspiration from them:

One impression of mine was, that people did lots of celebrating at
DebConf and I am not quite used to that. I left again before the
anniversary-celebration itself took place.
I am also not used to having cheese in the morning already, but it was OK.

P.S. attending the USA-DebConf next year is not an option for me.
DebConf13 was my first and only conference so far.
