[Debconf-discuss] Fitting Debian branded Swiss Knife Plastic Caps on existing Swiss Knives (was: Re: Debian Swiss Knife - Order yours now! - Yes, NOW.)

I know this information is late, but maybe someone else was asking
this himself this, too, before ordering:

If you, like me, already have a similar Victorinox knife with the same
size of plastic caps but with more or other tools than the two offered
models, and wondered if you can exchange those caps against the Debian
branded one:

Yes it should be possible.

There is a German written howto at
http://www.messerjoker.com/PDF/griffschalen.pdf which explains how to
exchange the plastic caps. If others are interested, too, I can
translate that howto into English. (Found via the also German forum
thread at http://www.messerforum.net/showthread.php?t=63270.)

JFTR: It has now reached over 35 knives and so both orders will
happen. Yay!
