[Debconf-discuss] Finding my way to Paris post-Debconf; requesting help+tips
Hi everyone,
I'm normally based in the US, but I'm (obviously) going to Debconf, and
after that, I plan to stay in Europe until the Desktop Summit in Berlin,
where (to my thrill) I'm a speaker!
July 31: Debconf is totally over.
August 5 evening: I must be in Berlin.
I would love to visit the Debianites in Paris, get some work done on my
laptop, and meet some parts of the logiciel libre community there. There
are also a few people (like Elisa de Castro Guerra, who works on the
translation of Floss Manuals into French, who I met at Libre Graphics
Meeting 2011) who I would love a chance to catch up with.
(Je peux parler un peu de français. De plus, j'aimerais passer quelque
jours en France pendant que je le practique.)
So I thought I'd ask for the following things:
* Does anyone have a place I can crash for a few days in Paris?
* Does anyone have particular suggestions for how to get to Paris from
Banja Luka? (Actually, that's probably a plane flight, and I will shop at
kayak.com. But maybe there's some awesome magic trick that's way cheaper
(?).)
* Does anyone have particular suggestions for ways to get to Berlin from
Paris?
One day, I will have time to visit the south of France, but it seems that
will have to be a future trip.
(Having said that, if someone replies to me with some amazing logistics to
make that work I will give it serious thought!)

P.S. I figure this is on-topic enough for a "general discussion" list, but
if it's bad to have sent it, please let me know and I will apologize and
quiet down.
