[Debconf-discuss] Virtual Security
Hi folks,
Well, ever since my talk was transformed into a workshop, I
have been wondering how to properly address this. I think, at a
workshop, the audience expects to come away with a skill they
learned. Therefore, I have structured the workshop into two tracks:
one, where we learn how to create a virtual machine with SELinux,
while we are waiting, another track where I talk about the subject.
So, for people who want to play along on their machines at
the workshop, I have uploaded the following files to
ftp://homer.mexico.debconf.org/incoming:
2.6.16-rc6-selinux1.patch.gz
linux-2.6.16.15.tar.bz2
linux-2.6.16.15.tar.bz2.sign
linux-image-2.6.16.15-skas3-v9-pre9n_501c_i386.deb
linux-uml-2.6.16.15-selinux1_501c_i386.deb
selinux-policy-refpolicy-doc_0.0.20060509-2_all.deb
selinux-policy-refpolicy-src_0.0.20060509-2_all.deb
selinux-policy-refpolicy-strict_0.0.20060509-2_all.deb
selinux-policy-refpolicy-targeted_0.0.20060509-2_all.deb
skas-2.6.16-v9-pre9.patch.bz2
I figured we do not want a whole load of people downloading
linux kernels and patches all at once over our outside link.
So, please preload your machines with these files. We'll be
creating two separate linux kernel images, so also have your machines
prepared to do kernel compiles.
This is the last talk of the day, so I'll be happy to stay
with interested people and have a continuing discussion.
