CAcert assurances
Hi all,
If you participated in the CAcert assurance after the keysigning and gave me
one of the WoT forms, I was able to give you 150 points because I requested
and was just authorized by CAcert to act as a "Super-Assurer", enabling me
to give 150 points to people (instead of the usual 35), for a limited time.
The Super-Assurer role is meant to aid in seeding areas that do not have good
CAcert assurer coverage. I know a number of people mentioned to me that they
did not have anyone in their city/country/continent that was an assurer
(such as our friends from Japan), so now you will be able to give 35 points
to people.
This also means that since you have 150 points, you should register as an
assurer for your area, so that people can find you and get points. Be a good
netizen and list yourself as an assurer (this is voluntary). You can flag
your account to be listed, and add a comment to
the display by going to:
