Because I'm not subscribed to that list, not being an organiser. The
list description says `the list for the organizer team to communicate
about all kinds of dirty details and grand schemes'. I didn't want to
communicate only with the organisers but also with the attendees.

If the organisers make a significant political decision, with which an
attendee disagrees, then the attendee has not only a right but a duty
to discuss it.
