Just a quick note: the local team roles list you guys found was done very very early on in the process of DC15 and we never really used it. If it turns out useful for you guys, then that's great. Meanwhile, we've been working on a new organisational structure in DebConf orga, and some of the tasks fall within the realm of new-formed teams. I've updated the wiki table accordingly (might not be complete yet). There are still rough edges here, please keep that in mind, but in general the idea is to work together from the start, rather than to have bid teams do their own stuff. At the same time, DC15 is the next conference, so if you are interested in working on a role/in a team, please consider helping out for DC15 already! When in doubt, feel free to ask. I'll be happy to help people figure out how and with whom to approach tasks. It's great to see the team so motivated, btw.! Getting stuff early is good because it avoids stress and bears advantages in terms of availability and price. It could also mean having more time for over-engineering, another thing to keep in mind. ;) Oh, and if I am annoying anyone with all this advice, please tell me. This is the first time that I am trying to help a bid in this way, and it won't improve if nobody tells me when it's bad ;) -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debconf.org> @martinkrafft : :' : DebConf orga team `. `'` `- DebConf15: Heidelberg, Germany: http://debconf15.debconf.org DebConf16: Cape Town: https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16
