Re: problems with LG BH10LS30 BD-RE

thanks much for your fast replies!

As far as I could understand, you don't expect the problem to be in the
drive model or Linux software, so I didn't return it and proceeded step
by step: CD-RW, DVD-RW, BD-RE. With various degrees of success, I could
burn them with various tools, including cdrtools 3.01a04.

However, the whole seems to be not very stable. For instance, the drive
got once identified as 204x during the kernel boot, whereas it's
normally reported as 40x. With no tool could I successfully burn all
three media types. I'll perform some more tests and report the results.
