Burnt my first DVD the other day and everything
seemed to go fine until we tried to play it back.
i run the first 4-5 mins playback on my DVD drive
in the computer that I had burned the disk. Everything seems to be
fine. The next day we tried to play in on a Toshiba DVD drive at a friends
and after 10 mins or so started to get pixelation and freezing up. Brought
it home and tried it on my Sony DVD/VCR which indicateds it plays all 4
formats..
After 10 minutes I started to experience the same
problems.
Took it to my computer and it reacted the same way
on the drive that I had burned it on.
The best way to discribe how it acts, is if you
have ever watched TV off a satellite and bad weather is in the area and the
signal starts to break up and pixelate and horizonal breaks in the
picture.
I'm using an LG Model GSA-4160B with 1X-2.4X
media. The software I used was DVD Decrypter and Nero 6 to generate the
file that I was recording. I have Windows XP Prof as an OS but I am not
using NTFS. I have the partition set as FAT32. None of the files
that were created on this burn attempt were larger than that which XP
FAT32 can manage without splitting.
HELP! I would appreciate any ideas at this
point
Thanks
Howard
