Hello list, when burning audio CDs in DAO or TAO mode there is a high CPU load in hardware interrupts.
When burning the audio CDs in RAW mode this high load cannot be observed. My stats:Cdrecord-Clone 2.01 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Jörg Schilling
cdrecord: Warning: Running on Linux-2.6.9-gentoo-r13 Hardware is an Athlon XP2200+ & NEC ND1300A Writing a 45 minutes audio CD from wav files at 10x speed top shows: in DAO mode: 50% idle 45% hi 3% user 2% system in RAW mode: 96% idle 0% hi 3% user 1% system Initial information for this bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95509 http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=6260166&forum_id=1927Can anyone (Jörg?) tell if this is caused by cdrecord (the same problem has been reported for cdrdao) or if it's a bug in the kernel?
