You completely fail to understand software design.

I repeated to tell the Linux kernel developers how this could be handled
more correctly but they don't listen to me. As they don't have the needed
know how to do it themselvs, it will probalbly remain at the current
indefensible state.

??? Did you ever look at the interfaces we are talking?

Please try to first get the needed knowledge. Sorry I cannot see that
it could make sense to continue this discusion if you don't know
where the problems are.
