I am quite sure that there's no such thing. There was one which made it
possible to read audio CDs with DMA enabled, but it made quite a few
problems and so it wasn't enhanced further or incorporated in the
main kernel (neither stable nor unstable). Also 2.6 doesn't really fix
the 2.4 problem when burning CDs with sctor sizes != 2048:
In 2.6 kernels you have to use ide-cd in order to be able to burn at
full speed, which isn't really supported (unintenmtional) by cdrecord
and its author doesn't like it at all (to say the least).
With regards to ide-scsi 2.6 isn't any better than 2.4, it's even worse
(IMHO) and will probably be marked deprecated soon or replaced by
libata (Jeff Garzik), which gets AFAIK also support from Jörg.
