Bug#775812: linux-image-3.16.0-4-amd64: Desktop PC fails to halt/powerof after upgrade to Jessie

Dear Maintainer,

yesterday I have upgraded my desktop PC from Wheezy to Jessie.
I have recognized, that calling /sbin/halt or shutdown -P now
does not powerof the PC anymore.
By searching in the internet I have found this bugreport.
And I can confirm now, that the problem is related to the usage of
systemd:
If systemd is used (which is the default) then powerof fails. (I can
hear some relais, but power is not switched off.)
If sysvinit is used (as with the command line below), than powerof
works.
