Dear project members, as anticipated in the team sprint report [1], the FTP master team is changing: - Ansgar Burchardt, former FTP assistant, has been promoted to FTP master. Good luck to him as well as many thanks for all his recent work on and around dak [1] - Torsten Werner, former FTP master, is stepping down from active participation as team member, although he has kindly given his availability to stay around as "FTP wizard", to help in case of emergency --- a form of human redundancy that is more than welcome when dealing with the archive. Task Description ---------------- FTP Masters, commonly referred to as "ftpmaster", oversee and maintain the well-being of Debian's official package repositories.
