proposal for apt-get
Hi !
I am a dial on demand internet user and have the problem that apt
always tries to fetch the latest package.
But sometimes I just want to install some version of an unimportant
(relating the version) package like less or make etc.
Then apt-get should better take the one from my CDs or from the cache
than comlaining about the broken internet connection.
In general apt-get should ask:
Could not connect to the "ftp-site". Should I take an old version of the
"xyz" package that is currently available via "cdrom" (Y/n):
read you,
