Package: compiz Version: 0.8.4-4 Severity: wishlist I like compiz. So I made compiz session files, that let me select a Compiz session at login time. Basically I created the following files, based on the equivalents from openbox. /usr/share/xsessions/compiz.desktop - based on openbox.desktop /usr/bin/compiz-session - based on openbox-session /etc/xdg/compiz/autostart.sh - based on /etc/xdg/openbox/autostart.sh It would be great if these were included in the distribution. If it helps, I attach the versions I created. You may want to tweak these further. ;-) cheers, Simon -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_NZ.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_NZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_NZ.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages compiz depends on: ii compiz-core 0.8.4-4 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-gnome 0.8.4-4 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-gtk 0.8.4-4 OpenGL window and compositing mana ii compiz-plugins 0.8.4-4 OpenGL window and compositing mana compiz recommends no packages.
