Probably related to the upgrade of xserver-xorg-core to 1.3.

This is harmless and I think it has been changed to a warning for the
next releases.

I wonder whether it could be related to
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=424684 (vesa driver
broken) which has a candidate patch pending.

Try downgrading with
