I switched from KDE to Openbox for a few days and the problem did not occur one time. Now under KDE, this problem occurred both with and without the "Enable keyboard layouts" option being checked in Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Layout Should I close this bug and re-submit it to KDE, or would someone forward it to the appropriate KDE package?
