Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-1

The ALT GR key of deDE keyboard layout will not work in xserver-xfree8 4.3.0.dfsg.1-1.
During startup the xserver murmurs
--
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
Error: Can't find file "pc/pc" for symbols include
Exiting
Abandoning symbols file "default"
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server
Error loading keymap /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/compiled/server-0.xkm
--

The following cures the situation:
setxkbmap -rules xfree86 -model pc105 -layout de

This is most annoying as it has to done for each login. Please help all users, there is only a 80 million lot of Germans wanting to install Debian sarge ;-)
