Great work Eugene. The fix seems good. I am starting to redirect people to Eugene's libvgahw.a for testing purposes, and it seems to be at least equally good to the gcc-3.3's one. I would like to send all the people that reported problems with blank consoles to test Eugene's libvgahw.a as an additional measure before you release.
